Abdominal Ultrasound is used in the diagnosis of diseases in the liver, gallbladder, biliary tract, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, bladder and uterus-ovaries in women and also in determining the causes of the abdominal pain.

Since breast ultrasound does not contain radiation, it can be used safely in women of all age groups, pregnant women and lactating mothers. In addition, breast ultrasound is applied to all women with dense breast structure and suspicious findings on mammography or physical examination.

Thyroid ultrasound is used in the evaluation of thyroid gland function, in the diagnosis of hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism and goiter, in the follow-up and evaluation of thyroid nodules.

It is used in the evaluation of the structures of the neck, like thyroid gland, lymph nodes, salivary glands and vessels. It is the first examination applied for swelling and stiffness in the neck.

With urinary ultrasound, kidneys, urinary tract, bladder, prostate gland and urine remaining in the bladder can be evaluated. It is the first test used in the detection of kidney stones, prostate enlargement and diagnosis of bladder tumors.

Early diagnosis and treatment of hip dysplasia (hip dislocation) is possible with hip screening examination performed in the first 3 months after birth. Therefore, Turkish Ministry of Health requires hip ultrasonography in all newborn babies.

Occlusions in the leg veins (thrombosis) and varicose infrastructure (venous insufficiency) are detected with color Doppler. During the procedure, the blood flows in the veins are evaluated without the use of any medication.

Stenosis and occlusions in the arteries in the legs are detected with color Doppler. During the procedure, the blood flows in the arteries are evaluated without the use of any medication.

Carotid and Vertebral Arteries, the main arteries supplying the brain, are evaluated with color Doppler. Intravascular plaques, vascular stenosis levels caused by these plaques, and blood flow velocities can be evaluated with the scan.

Renal Color Doppler is a method used especially in high blood pressure and kidney diseases. Stenosis and occlusions in the kidney vessels are evaluated.
